Let us take you to the neighborhood John Philip Sousa and J. Edgar Hoover called home. Come see where Roberta Flack started her career. Enjoy a variety of food that follows the culinary history of this diverse Washington DC neighborhood.

Enough food is served that most participants will not need dinner after the tour.  All dishes are served sitting down, so you can enjoy the ambiance of each restaurant while trying their specialties, and hearing their stories. All dishes served are included in the tour. Seating and special service is provided at all restaurants throughout the tour.

We recommend you eating a light brunch before the tour rather than lunch. The dishes you will try resemble small meals rather than traditional tastings. We want you to be able to experience the best each restaurant has to offer.

"Great Tour! History with food, architecture with food, comedy with food and a great tour guide and even more food made this a first class experience. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide made great sense of the maze of Capitol Hill. Her knowledge of the history of the area and of great local eateries made this the best city food tour I have been on. I recommend this to anyone that wants to have a fun afternoon in the Washington area. I couldn't believe that three hours could go by so quickly. Not to be missed! P.S. Eat lightly before you go. The food was unique, and the portions were satisfying."
