Georgetown Food Tour


Our Georgetown Food Tour takes you to the historic yet chic charm of Georgetown, an area that pre-dated Washington DC. You will be transported on this 3.5 hour Food Tour across 250+ years of history, and enjoy flavors closely connected to the Northwest DC neighborhood.

Long before it became popular by the Kennedys and the home of high end retail and fashion, Georgetown was a working class port city pre-dating the Federal City of Washington DC. Its roots are still very much alive and can be seen in the red brick townhomes, and turn of the century factories that are found throughout the area.

The Food Tour will bring together progressive, high end cuisine, with long standing DC institutions. From restaurants and shops running before prohibition, to swanky hotspots, this Food Tour brings together some of the best this area has to offer.

We will finish up our journey by crossing the historic C&O canal and enjoying a sweet ending and drink from a bakery that originated as a printing house.

Your Food Tour may include the following specialties:

We recommend you eating a light brunch before the tour rather than lunch. The dishes you will try throughout the Georgetown Food Tour are both small meals and traditional tastings. We want you to be able to experience the best each restaurant has to offer. Like our other Food Tours, you will not need dinner after the tour.

Tour Information

When:Friday-Sunday between 3:00 and 6:30 pm
Where:  Meets 28th and M street NW (The exact meeting location will be provided upon ticket purchase)
How long:The food tour will last approximately 3-3.5 hours
Who:All age groups and fitness levels are encouraged to take the tour
How much:$63 per adult ticket (plus a $2 ticketing fee). We will be sitting for all dishes.
What to wear:Comfortable clothing and shoes
What is included: All food and drinks are included in the tour.
