DC Metro Food Tours is proud to offer the official Cherry Blossom Food Tours, a multi-hour activities combining historic guided tours with stops at local restaurants enjoying specially created dishes and drinks in great historic neighboroods throughout the city.

The official Cherry Blossom Food Tour available as custom private individual and group tours. Individual sign ups are available March-May, but group tours are availsble throghout the year upon demand.

The Official Cherry Blossom Food Tour will take you through either Old Town Alexandria, Capitol Hill, or Georgetown - three of the earliest and most iconic neighborhoods in the Washington, DC area.

Capitol Hill

Widely known for its architecture and storied pubs, Capitol Hill is also home to a variety of family run restaurants.

Georgetown

Made popular in the 1960s by the Kennedy's, the former working-class port city of Georgetown boasts 18th century architecture, the picturesque C&O canal, and great restaurants and nightlife.

Old Town Alexandria

As the home of George Washington and Robert E Lee, Old Town Alexandria combines quaint cobbled streets, historic buildings and a rich culture unique to the area.

The Old Town, Capitol Hill and Georgetown Cherry Blossom Food Tours will explore area chefs' creativity with Cherry Blossom inspired food and drink. You will appreciate the vision behind their Cherry Blossom Festival themed dishes, whether it be Japanese inspired, or a sweet or savory cherry based dish.

Each tour will be led by a knowledgeable tour guide to share interesting facts about these historical areas while also concentrating on the unique culinary aspects of each eatery.
